ZoaSearch.com was made for hobbyists by hobbyists.

While on the hunt for the name of a zoanthid I had forgotten, I found it so difficult and confusing to find a site that could help. My only options were to scroll through thousands of google images or forum posts in hope that someone had an answer. I decided to make it easier on everyone and build out this catalogue. At ZoaSearch.com we aim to make your coral identifying journey a much easier and simpler process by providing quality pictures, industry standard names and an ever expanding gallery to look through.

It shouldn’t take forever to find an ID on a frag and you shouldn’t have to resort to asking strangers on the internet that may or may not be able to differentiate a zoa from a paly. We aim to provide a massive catalogue for you to search through and are also working on a revolutionary system for finding the exact ID in five easy steps. Stay tuned as we progress towards a future without millions of “ID this zoa” threads.

We aim to be a community here so please do not hesitate to make requests or suggestions!
